Staying up late last night to watch the repeat of Rome, I caught the climactic end of a film called Insomnia... (Had I better put a cut here in case someone taped it to watch today? In the spirit of the season, I suppose so...)



The film ends with Robin Williams and Al Pacino locked in combat. I won't say who did win - but who should win?

You're like this billiant revisionist. I watched that film because of my immoderate love for Al Pacino (what can I say, I have a thing for sunken eyes and lots of shouting?) and thought it was bollocks. Now of course, I see it deserves Deep Thought.
