Best Loved Sons Wiki

Here is a little project which I hope some of you might enjoy playing with: the Best Loved Sons Wiki.

"Best Loved Sons" is the umbrella title given to the series of Tolkien fanfiction written by myself and Isabeau, with additional (and substantial!) contributions from Dwimordene and Soledad. When I was updating the timeline last week, I began to read through again from the beginning, and I was struck by how much world-building that Isabeau, in particular, had done. So I thought it would be nifty to gather it all together in one place, not only as a helpful reference resource, but as a potential source of plot bunnies. (Weaving together timelines and other information in this way always throws up story ideas.)

Alt.Fiction

I'm looking forward to the Alt.Fiction event in Derby this Saturday, a one-day festival of alternative fiction, with panels on TV tie-in writing, SF writing, screen writing, and discussions such as 'genre books you must read'.
