the descent for Melian was done by a small wheel at the top, showing its 'angelic' nature.
I'm trying to imagine this, but what I'm envisioning is the most godawful party favor spinning noisemaker with pink wings painted on it...
The bottom of the tree had the Chieftains of the Dunedain, the Princes of Dol Amroth, the Stewards, and the Kings of the Mark lined up alongside each other, and really brought home the longevity of the Northern Dunedain in comparison. I am hugely tempted to do something like this myself one day, but I think I'd be MAD.
*grinds teeth in frustration* Yep, it's clear: I wants this, my preciouss... What would it take to drive you mad so I don't have to do this by myself? I'll bribe Mr. Altariel if I have to!
