Which is about 1000 words more than I'd hoped for this week, but by god I'm glad that counter doesn't give SQ or 'suckage quotient'.

Do you like my new Noggin the Nog icon, btw? I think he is saying, "Hwæt!"

I do wish the Beeb would make Noggin videos, as it did of so many kids' programmes of that era or slightly later.

Yes, they seemed to release all the other Postgate programmes, most of which I don't remember, but not Noggin, which I loved! Why???

There are Noggin videos, albeit not produced by the BBC themselves. I have two of them. For how to get them see:

I do wonder whether Roger Delgado's and Ainthony Ainsley's portrayals of the Master were influenced by Nogbad the Bad.

Not for a while, it's really rough, pretty rubbish. I'm trying to push through a full draft, and then start tearing it apart.

Nice icon. :) We ought to explain to the uninitiated that that's actually Thornogson who's pictured.

Last time I looked - some time ago - they didn't have the DVDs. I see that they are Multi-Region, so we have the chance to introduce our overseas friends to the delights of Noggin.

The DVDs have versions of the storybooks on them, which is a particularly nice extra.

Well done on the writing!

I used to love 'Noggin the Nog'.

You're quite right :-)

Glad you like the icon. Mr A. did some tweaking to the original image - I think that pillar on the left has shuffled in a bit. (I am graphics-illiterate, that kind of thing impresses me mightily.)

Thanks! Only 40,000 words and another couple of drafts to go...

Upthread there is a link for the company producing Noggin the Nog DVDs... should you find yourself with a shortage of things to watch!

Go you! And now the sucky words are down on the page, that leaves room and time for not-so-sucky words.

I'm certainly hoping that'll turn out to be the case...!

Thanks, A! I might follow that up. It would be very, very strange to see it again after all these years.
