I did one of those! The "Collected Works of Marion Zimmer Bradley" is mine! I was so pleased that they used it, because they said they didn't accept things like that but they used it anyway. :D

Well, personally I'd say they were dei ex machinis (or even, given their position in the sentence, deorum ex machinis, but apart from that it seems pretty much spot on!
