I apologize for hijacking your post on an unrelated topic, but I just discovered that The Hollow Men is available as an ebook at Fictionwise, and I bought it, and am very excited.
I have a strong preference for reading from my handheld--for convenience and portability and because it's much easier on my eyes and hands. And because I'm a gadget freak and a big geek.
Just this morning I was reading the paperback version of your novel on the bus and struggling a bit in poor light. When I got to the office, I went to Fictionwise to download Enchanted, Inc., a novel by another author on my friends list, shanna_s. It occurred to me that yours might be there too, and sure enough, I found it! So I bought it. I'll donate the paperback to our office charitable book sale. And I'll leave a positive rating at Fictionwise.
I'm never sure how authors feel, or how much they know, about ebooks, so I'll just mention that this is an encrypted Mobipocket edition (meaning it can't be read on anyone else's device but mine--I can't disseminate it on the usenet, for instance--not that I would); I paid roughly the same price for it as for the mass market paperback; it includes a replica of the cover art and title page, and it's nicely formatted, including a hyperlinked table of contents.
Anyway, I'm thrilled. Now I'll be able to really get into your novel in ease and comfort. If I had one of those futuristic computers-in-your-pocket with eyeglasses monitor, I could read it while on the Stairmaster, and then my life would be complete.
