I gave in and bought the Firefly DVDs. Is it possible to love Firefly any more than I already do? Possibly. But now I crave fiction about Book. More specifically, fiction about Book and Simon, and guns and blood. Does it exist, or only in my head?

I'm sure yours will be better, but nonetheless the IP "The Rebel's Disciple" has Book, Simon, and a whole bunch of shooting, albeit none of it by Simon and precious little of it by SurgicalTech!Vila. Yes, ShinySeven rides again.

And I'll have you know that there are *two* Firefly panels at ConneXions and only one HP panel. No B7 panel as such, but a "living and writing in a dead fandom" panel which, insofar as I'm the co-mod, will have a bit to say about B7.
