I chose "No chick pit for you" for my quote and still didn't get Riley. Not that I actually want him particularly, but at least I wouldn't have to fight anyone for him. Poor Riley.

What's wrong with Riley? He's big, reliable - well, a little boring, sure, but other than that? And he's very good at the puppy dog routine.

I didn't say I was actively trying to get him. I was just being honest in my choice of preferred quote and thought that answer might tip the scales in his favour. I was willing to live with it.
