Welcome back Johnny-boy

From [livejournal.com profile] trixieleitz. What? After yesterday's horror? Of course I fixed it.

Which John Cusack Are You?

Strangely enough, that's the one I got, too... Mmmmm.

Mmm indeed!

It doesn't have a 'which other Cusacks could you be' page, annoyingly, so I can't drool over other pictures easily.

Of course I fixed it.

I would have thought any result would be acceptable on this one ;)

Yeah, that's true. Although I particularly like this film.

Definitely. JC in lots of black, cool, and with some brilliant one-liners. (Not to mention Minnie Driver strong opposite him.)

"I killed the president of Paraguay with a fork. How've you been?"

"Debi, I love you, and I know we can make this relationship work."

"You're a handsome devil. What's your name?"

Minnie Driver is unusually good, doesn't annoy the crap out of me as she often does.

Hee!

"It's true what they say: you can never go home again, but I guess you can shop there"

I don't remember normally finding MD that annoying, but maybe I've just been lucky with what I've seen her in. Saw her last in 'Return to me', which wasn't bad, if you just took it for what it was. Plus it had David Duchovny in.

She's brilliant!

Have you seen 'Identity' yet?

BTW 'my' Cusack was Lane somebody or other I never heard of, who is apparently obsessional and wierd. As if.

Not yet - is it worth it?

Can't see it myself.

I liked it. I discussed it a bit with archbish on my journal but all spoilered out. You might find it a bit umm... unsubtle, psychologically, but I liked it because it exteriorised emotion into sensual details like rain and blood.

And, of course, John Cusack's in it.

Well, let me know what you think if/when you see it. I thought his performance was good, in fact the acting in general was good.

I hope it'll be on next week - I actually *get paid*!! in a few days (yes, like a proper real person with a job!!!) which is better, I think, that having a whole ten pence to rub together, which is what it's been like since the research grant ran out.

Wow, cinema, shopping, what treats next week has in store!

Yay! Let me know if you fancy seeing anything...

I'm keen to see 'Identity' for the Cusack-lovin', but have you seen 'The Matrix' yet? Mr A. won't be dragged to that screaming.

[identity profile] glitterboy1.livejournal.com 2003-06-28 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I definitely fancy J... er, Identity.

As for 'The Matrix Reloaded', I thought you were nearly as anti as Mr A.? I did see it, but would see it again, if you wanted to.

I suddenly had one of those urges for popcorn. But I'd rather see the Lovely and Never Disappointing JC than the Significantly Disappointing KR.

Yes, but the wrong sort ;-)

JC it is, then!

OK, when is good for you?
