Honourable mention goes to Carla Henry as Castiza, Margie Clark as Gloriana, Derek Jacobi as the Duke, and especially Drew Schofield as Carlo, who manages to outshine Chris in a couple of visceral scenes.
However, the stars of the piece are, without a shadow of a doubt, Chumbawamba. Their soundtrack captures the whole post-apocalyptic Scouse nightmare vision perfectly.
