Phoenix Five

At the pub last night, a friend recalled seeing an Australian SF show called Phoenix Five. Anyone remember it?

The episode guide is marvellous. It sounds like the show from Galaxy Quest.

Absolutely. I bet Tina's job is to repeat the computer. *laughs*

!!!! I've never heard of it (I was born a little after this, though not long after) and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this! I'm watching this and laughing my head off. Australia does Trek on a $5/show budget.

Episode 19: Tina shows Adam a tiny antique toy soldier she has bought while on leave.

What could be better than a tiny antique soldier? Isn't that brilliant?

I like the one with the kitten as well.

Ah, the problem with reading LJ from newer to older posts is that you often see things upside down. Phoenix Five passed me by. Australian, you say. Skippy in Space?

The lead, Mike Dorsey ("Commander Roke") did indeed pop up in Skippy!
