The Never-Ending Sacrifice excerpt
You can now read an excerpt from my soon-to-be-published novel The Never-Ending Sacrifice on the Simon and Schuster website, here.
Also, coming to a newsagent near you real soon now, Star Trek Magazine 20 contains an extract and review, along with other goodies related to some film or other that came out earlier this year. Available early August in the US, mid-August in the UK.
PS Still on my hols and writing this from one of the reception rooms here.

It's such a hard life. Say hello to Mr. A!
(There's a chapter of P&C in your inbox for when you get back...)

I'll tell my sister - she's a DS9 fan so she'll be pleased to know another novel is out there.

I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the book. The last line of the excerpt made me laugh.

*innocent face* Can't wait for you to see it in full.
Our hols were brilliant, although I don't much feel like going back to work. I did clean the house before going away, so at least I wasn't coming home to total chaos.

You are fooling no-one with that face. I want to see it in full too!
Sound plan to clean before you went away, and I'm glad the hols were brilliant. Can you ease gently into work?

Sadly no: I have an essay on Doctor Who to finish by the weekend. But

Is this your first ST novel? I've long wondered how one makes that jump . . .

This is in fact my third ST novel (the others are Hollow Men and the Cardassian novel in this book). As to how I started doing it - I was approached by the editor of the range, who had had my fanfiction recommended to him, and asked to pitch some stories!
