I missed a few days, but never mind, I'm going to have a completion certificate anyway. To make it, I collected some of the Venice icons I made, and made some more icons from pictures I took of the garden. Then I cobbled them all together.

The new journal layout is lovely, and I know just what you mean about managing tags. Every so often I go on a data cleanup rampage and fix a bunch of mine.
I love tags, but tag managmenet isn't quite where it needs to be on LJ yet.
Yes, I agree the tag management isn't great. Mostly I don't want the long list showing up on my layout - my last scheme let me choose whether to show it or not, but I can't find the option on this layout. Oh well, it's made me hack out a bunch of useless tags.

I've sort of half-decided to let my tags be organic, and grow a cloud as they will. The fact that "work" is now bigger than "Serenity" is, to say the least, sad and ironic. Tells part of my story.
(Heh. I also kind of like that, on my more bleary-eyed, over-50 days, I can't even see the one-time-use tags.)
My main complaint is that it's harder than it needs to be to avoid having both "birthday" and "birthdays" tags and stuff like that, and way harder than it should be to clean that up.
