Thank you! That one with the arches is a much bigger picture with loads of tourists (including me) walking along an arcade. You can just spot a couple of heads in the bottom right corner.
Darn tetrarchs, I never did find them! I think the facade was being repaired when I was there.. where the statue was moevd to (I guess) I don't know. Or covered up? Disappointing.
That whole corner was covered over with plywood when I was in Venice - they were cleaning or repairing that section of St. Mark's and.. I'm going to say the loggia that connects it with the Doge's Palace.
Another thing that happened on that trip was that I suffered through the whole tour through the Pitti Palace, only to find that the Titian I was looking forward to had been removed for cleaning! (Icon is the Titian.)

As in the gold mosaic of a wall,
Come from the holy fire, perne in a gyre,
And be the singing-masters of my soul"

When I was in Berlin, the Brandenburg Gate was covered in tarpaulin.

I realize after several days of the NaArMaMo posts of yours that I am not figuring out what that stands for. What does it stand for?
(Yes, I could Google it, but that can be such a conversation killer...)
