On podfic

Specifically, the podfic I was after in a previous post is fanfiction read out (rather than audio books per se, although I'm going to get round to that too), whether by the author or else by My Friends. Which I think is a smashing idea. The ever-wise toft_froggy sent me to this site, but I see none of my fandoms *mourns* Shall I do some? What shall I do?

The more the merrier! (And it's my friends' voices I really want.) This is the Tolkien fanfic referred to; fwiw, I wrote it after seeing the pictures from Abu Ghraib.

It expressed itself physically, at first, as pain. I woke early one morning with a blinding headache that remained until I completed it. That doesn't usually happen so transparently.
