I just cut my finger chopping onions. Stupid rubbish cooking. Not so badly I need to leave the house and seek out expertise (how dreary would that have been, crossing town in the Friday rush hour?), but bad enough that I went all faint and had to lie down for a bit. It's all plastered over and I can type again now, but I think I'll still take the opportunity to sulk in front of the telly tonight.

I was a bit freaked out when my ears started ringing, but I had a lie down on the bed and whimpered for a bit. Then it started hurting and I started cursing, so everything was soon back to normal! ;-)

I hope it's feeling a bit better now. Chocolate and icecream definitely the best medicine.

Much more chipper this morning. I was flicking through Sylvia Plath's Ariel for something I'm writing, and there's one about her cutting her thumb while chopping an onion. That helped.
