Completely teetotal

You're 65% Irish

You're very Irish, and most likely from Ireland.
(And if you're not, you should be!)

It knows!

I was only 45%: less Irish than I think I am, apparently.

Might be one of the more scientifically accurate tests I've done. Oh, apart from the one where I came out as Sam Vimes.

And I'm "not Irish. Not even a wee bit. Not even on St. Patrick's Day!" Hey! I'll raise a drink to the Irish then! And there may even be some green stripes on my shirt.

Scarily, that gave me my sister's name...

40%
You're probably less Irish than you think you are...

But you're still more Irish than most.

That is 40% too much. I need a how German are you test.

40%. Hmm, doesn't leave much room for the Manx ancestors...

Should have been 'how Celtic are you?'

With names like Kelly and Connor and Kennedy in the maternal ancestry alone, yes! (Even if the Wesleys had got to them by the time they left for Australia, putting me in a similar position to [livejournal.com profile] raspberryfool...)

I got 35%, which is probably about right as my oldest known ancestors were from County Down. I'm not sure that qualifies though, considering they were certainly Protestant, and probably Orangemen.

Aw, everyone's welcome here. Even people who try to get me to watch Stargate Atlantis.

Aw, thanks :-)

A friend's mother is Catholic Northern Irish, and apparently vehemently anti-protestant. I think it's rather amusing myself as we get along well and i tend to take people how i find them.

Stargate Atlantis? Never heard of it! ;-)
