Big Brother
I was gutted by Derek's eviction, particularly after my belated realization that he is, to all intents and purposes, Garak.
All hopes must now lie with the supremely geeky Eugene, the only human being left in the house. "Two negatives don't make a positive," he said about the festering sore that is the 'friendship' of Craig and Anthony. "Well, in actual fact they do, but not in this case." You can't write dialogue as beautiful as that.

If you ever want to waste a LOT of time, there's a fifty-four-page long thread on BB6 on Barbelith, most of which is about how vile Craig is, with some bonus psychiatric diagnosis and Morrissey comparisons from Ganesh, our resident shrink (actually, you might have met Ganesh at my party - he was wearing a white ruffled shirt saying RIOT on it). A good place to start is here.
I haven't seen any of this series of Big Brother, because for the past two or three years the Barbelith threads have been much more entertaining than actually watching it (and allowed me to 'pass' as an obsessed fan in conversation with other humans), but I nearly cracked and watched Craig's eviction last night - except that it was in the half-hour between the first half of the Lost pilot on 4 and The L-Word on Living TV, and I would have got whiplash of genre.
