MB mousepads

Look, Myers Briggs mousepads!

"INFJ: I'm sorry that you have to die."

"...Analyzing..."?

Think about it...

[identity profile] communicator.livejournal.com 2004-11-13 12:39 pm (UTC)(link)
On my NT list they are having a discussion about which is the sexiest type of NT (stupid I know) so far four out of four votes for ol' INTP.

[identity profile] archbishopm.livejournal.com 2004-11-13 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
No discussion with the word "sexiest" in it can possibly be stupid. "Sexiest NT" seems to me to be bordering on "tallest dwarf" territory, but hmm, wouldn't you think it'd be one of the E's, on the assumption that an innate willingness, nay, eagerness to interact with other people, as, you know, a precursor to having sex with them, would be a key component of sexiness?

And it wouldn't be one of the J's as I generally think of that quality as "punchableness" (um, no offense, Altariel1...;-p).

So it'd be ENTP. Communicator. You hot jelly baby you.

LOL, but no. I find NT's far more sexy than any of the other types. Boys with actual brains are hot!

And it wouldn't be one of the J's as I generally think of that quality as "punchableness"

Oh, very well said.

[identity profile] altariel.livejournal.com 2004-11-16 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
What makes J's punchable?

[identity profile] mistraltoes.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure it's not all Js. ;-) Possibly punchableness belongs to a subset of Js. But some of them do tend to be a little, oh, inflexible and narrow-minded. Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] archbishopm's remark just gave me a giggle, that's all.

[identity profile] mistraltoes.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and I forgot to say, thanks for pointing these out. I have an INTP friend who'll now be getting one of these for Christmas; I think she'll be pleased.

[identity profile] altariel.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
:-D I was interested in getting a P perspective on the judgmental decisive nature of the J ;-D

[identity profile] mistraltoes.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Well, at the risk of lapsing into seriousness, I quite like decisive; it's a strength most of the time, and I wish I had it. But I do find it worrying when people - any people - fail to realize that they might be wrong, or at least that some other position might be equally right. In my experience, that seems to happen more often in Js.

[identity profile] altariel.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
That's definitely a strong temptation for the INFJ: it's very easy to take the shortcut of relying completely on my intuition and dismissing others' opinions too quickly, without processing on a more conscious level the judgement I'm making.

Oh, none taken!

We are. Of course we are.
