In fact, I've only visited Hong Kong in China, but it was after the handover, and there was no option for just Hong Kong.

No sights in England?!? Well, I suppose that depends what you're after.

I'm very close to London - an hour by train - and happen to live in a place particularly worth visiting. So let's hope I'm still here in four years (very likely)!

Ooh! Very cool! And well, my roommate all for pretty scenery, etc. while I don't really know much about London at all. What're some places worth visiting? We're both into old historical castle-type things, she's into art museums and so forth.

*bounces* If I manage to survive the four years of Engineering, I'll definitely make sure to visit you on my trip! (Hey, you could tell me all the good places to eat there! *g*)

Art in London: the National Gallery is one of the best in the world; the National Portrait Gallery is my favourite. And there's the British Museum. Those should keep you going for a while!

Leeds Castle is your best bet near London.

Cambridge doesn't really do castles, but the college buildings are well worth seeing! (This is King's College Chapel.)

And between us, Mr A. and I can certainly suggest some good eating places around London and Cambridge!
