And a very merry Christmas to all of you at home

I'm not a great sender of the Christmas card, but, taking a leaf out of [livejournal.com profile] communicator's book, I hope you'll accept these Good Gifts, bought for you all in place of a card.

A cherry tree for Japan
Support for an Afghan girl

Those are lovely, and appreciated by me - I hope also by the Japanese and Afghans!

Thank you kindly! I use good gifts for family Xmas gifts often as not, because that Afghan girl needs the wooly jumper more than my sis does anyway, and she won't object to my (lack of) fashion sense. I think it's a lovely way of marking the time of year.
