Sometimes I intersect with coverage of the wedding, and it's like I've briefly wandered into an alternate universe. *wanders back to fanfiction-land*

*snigger* I know the feeling. Going out tomorrow on a desperate mission to avoid coverage and celebrate a friend's birthday. Hoping the local garden centre isn't doing anything silly. :(

We'd managed to avoid it till we got this week's Radio Times. We did think about sending the thing back and asking for one with a better schedule.

In that case, you'll love this, I'm sure.

I am secretly hoping that Ms Middleton will be wearing a liquorice all sorts wedding dress and that happiness will prevail. But that's as far as my interest goes.

We haven't been able to avoid it either. Pesky colonialism. I think I'll join you in the real world ;)

I was a bit startled when I entered the Co-Op opposite the vet's this morning to find wall-to-wall coverage of the impending ceremony on Co-Op Radio.

Think this is the only icon of an English royal I've got...

I got up late, and since then I've been watching some really good snooker.

Somehow I think US is more excited than some parts of the UK...

We didn't get a Bank Holiday, but for some reason it's now a "Sales Event"-day...

I have to comment, however, that I watched a bit of it, and it's a bit like watching time-travelling without a TARDIS at some parts.
