The performances have a conviction the designers couldn't muster.

I adore Five, and that's exactly why. I know that Warriors of the Deep isn't all that good, but I still enjoy it, and Peter Davison can convince me of almost anything. Even that the Magma Beast is scary. (I still vote Androzani as The Best Ever, despite the Magma Beast.)

I love Lytton, he's awesome. Completely saves Resurrection for me.

I remember nothing of Frontios. I suspect that was deliberate on my part.
