NewCon Press panel at Constitution

I'll be putting in an appearance at Constitution this weekend. I'll be participating in the NewCon Press panel, 11am Sunday, at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge. Possibly reading from my short story, "The Great Gig in the Sky", from the anthology Subterfuge, certainly talking a little about it. Come and say hello if you see me!

I imagine it's amazing how much of that sort of logistical headache one finds one can put up with for 30 million quid. I did derive a bit of sardonic amusement, after the news of the name change came out, from speculating on how much filthy lucre one would have to dispense to get some of the older foundations to change theirs, and what to. What price Trinity becoming, oh I don't know, Procter & Gamble College? Or Kings' Jeremy Clarkson Hall?...

The Canadian billionaire? A/c Wikipedia, he's already got the Business School at Saskatchewan named after him. It does seem a bit unfortunate to appear to have got a Cambridge college as well for free, I agree...
