I think it really would show up how I have the world's least thrilling life: "altariel is at home reading a book"... "altariel is having a think"... "altariel is pretending she cannot hear the phone ring"...

That's very helpful to know that people aren't necessarily finding it useful in a professional context. I hate having my photo taken at the best of times and would loathe to have to see ones that were taken when I was a teenager, yuk!
