NewCon podcasts

Apparently someone recorded several of the panels from NewCon, and has made them available as podcasts. Good job I didn't know at the time, I'd never have said a word.

Available here; thanks [livejournal.com profile] hutch0 for letting me know. I haven't listened because I don't like the sound of my own voice. Yes, really.

I don't like the sound of my own voice.

You talk and we'll listen because we do.

Will listen to this later - thanks for the link.

:-) Thank you - and I hope it's interesting!

It was, thanks. BTW, one thing I am not sure was mentioned when people talked about novels being too long to be read online, was publishing a novel as a serial. Not so much as a WIP, when you don't know whether or not someone is going to finish, but if magazines move to online publishing, perhaps that could include a chapter per edition of a novel?

And I enjoyed listening to your voice coming out the speakers in our living room. :-)

Interesing point: IIRC, Stephen King first published The Green Mile as online serial novel, but I don't know if anyone else has tried.

Sounds unholy to me! ;-)
