That's funny . . . because our next door neighbor has a picture perfect yard, and we half-joke that it's good we have a privacy fence so that it's harder for passersby to compare his yard with our weed-infested nightmare. But, no matter how many times we ask, he won't take care of ours as well.

He isn't married, nor does he have kids. He spends most of his free time in his yard. Strange thing is, he hates mowing, so he keeps decreasing the amount of grass by increasing flowers, shrubs, etc., that take much more time and effort to maintain than grass. Of course, we don't even maintain our grass properly!

So, if you ever find yourself in Minnesota, you'll have to be satisfied with sitting on our falling-apart deck while looking over the fence at a nice garden . . .
