It sounds very sensible to go for Syndol + power nap as a first option. My doctor described prescribing Imigran as using "the big guns" (for which I was very definitely good and ready). It will still be there if you do ever need it - oh, and it's called Imitrex in the US. Good luck and bon voyage!
